DESCRIPTION:
Interested in increased energy, less pain, and improved mood? Many times in the body, the root cause of suffering comes from inflammation. Join naturopathic doctors, Emily Wolbers and Jennifer Trigg for a workshop all about Anti-inflammatory Living!

This workshop covers all the ins and outs of inflammation, how it presents in the body, and strategies for decreasing inflammation. You'll leave the workshop equipped with knowledge of how to do an anti-inflammatory diet, how mental diet and self-talk can influence inflammation, and tools to decrease inflammation with food, supplements, and mindfulness techniques. 

What to bring: curiosity, a journal, and a pen

Dr. Emily:
"First, let me warn you that I am a nerd, and I love food. My journey to become a doctor started with a passion for all things food-related. I loved learning about digestion, metabolism, biochemistry, and how the body responds to food. I ate it up! I love helping people to see food as medicine and have become especially interested in how the mind plays a role in this relationship. I've dedicated my practice to Mind-Body Medicine, specifically the Gut-Brain connection to help bridge the gap between mind, body, and spirit when it comes to healthcare. There is something so special about connecting with people's hearts on their journey to wellness; it's a transition I hold dearly and feel honored to serve people in this way."

Emily Wolbers is a Naturopathic Doctor and founder of QC Natural Health and E-RYT 500 Yoga Instructor, currently teaching at The People's Yoga. 


Dr. Jennifer:
"I have always had a passion for science, as well as compassion for the many struggles our society faces. My study of health sciences helped me realize that healing from within was a way I could affect change in the world around me. This eventually led me to my path of becoming a doctor, and it is now an honor to help others on their own healing journeys. As with any journey, there can be difficult moments, but I have also learned that there can be magic and excitement in finding a new way of being! I believe addressing the mind, body, and spirit all have their place in medicine. My background in neuroscience has fueled my understanding of the importance of nervous system regulation and the Gut-Brain connection. My goal is to help others achieve whole person wellness by finding and addressing the root cause of disease with natural approaches."

Jennifer Trigg is a Naturopathic Doctor at QC Natural Health with additional training in Cranio-Sacral Therapy & Shamanic Healing.
