In this in-person Vinyasa Yoga* experience, we will focus on mindful breathing, yoga postures, as well as functional movements that support building strength while also increasing mobility, balance and flexibility β€” for both the mind and the body! An inviting, safe space will be held to cultivate a moving meditation, inviting students to soften back from the normal mind-chatter and into present body-mind awareness.

Class will be thought-full, varied and full of opportunities to check in with your Self. Jill will guide an hour-long active asana (physical) practice. You can expect a flow of postures linked together by breath that include sun and moon salutations (surya + chandra namaskar), a range of standing, seated and supine poses, twists, balancing postures, forward folds, inversions, back bends, targeted core strengthening, as well as pranayama (breath techniques), and plenty of stillness to soak it all in.

What to bring: a water bottle, hand towel and any props that allow your utmost balance and comfort!  We do have mats, blocks, and blankets onsite.

We look forward to building presence, flow, and community with you! πŸ’œ

*What is Vinyasa Yoga? vinyasa (n.) a series of actions performed with clear intention, in purposeful order, to illuminate conscious awareness. Vinyasa is a type of yoga that links movement and breath to invite balance in the mind and body. From the Sanskrit β€œto place in a special way,” vinyasa aligns an intentional sequence of postures with the breath to achieve a continuous mindful flow or moving meditation.
